IAMLADP: PRESENT, PAST, VISION FOR THE FUTURE

to member organizations’ governing bodies. In 2007, it adopted a Common Platform for Action with regard to outreach to universities, contained in document IAMLADP/2007/R.4. Executive Session participation is restricted to heads of delegations of the member organizations (each participant accompanied by one advisor). In 2008, it agreed with the conclusions reflected in the host's background paper on performance management, prepared by the European Parliaments"s DG TRAD (IAMLADP/2008/R.4).

Reporting obligations
Since 1980, IAMLADP has not been required to report to the ACC or to its successor CEB. Its annual reports are issued by the Secretariat in New York as restricted documents and placed on a password-protected area of the IAMLADP web site, accessible to IAMLADP members only.

Future
The future of IAMLADP depends on its continued usefulness to its members. It was agreed that IAMLADP should continue to be a results-oriented and proactive framework for harmonizing approaches and recommending best practices and innovative solutions in the areas falling within its mandate.
