Results of the UCG mandates are part of the WGT annual reports to IAMLADP. Some examples of practical initiatives of the UCG are the Salamanca seminars and the Herzen model for exchange of competences.

In February 2008 the UCG organised a pilot seminar on legal translation in Salamanca University for 13 professional translators from 10 international organizations. In February 2009 the seminar was replicated and attended by 22 staff translators from 10 IOs. Evaluation and feedback from all three seminars are included in the UCG annual reports to IAMLADP available on this site. The model allows staff from many different organizations to attend lectures on legal translation, and in addition to offer master classes to students of translation and interpreting, as well as to meet fellow professionals from different IOs, exchange good practices and work experiences. Proceedings of the seminars "Reflections on Legal Translation" from 2008 and "Translating Justice" from 2009 have been published by Comares. Check the following llinks:
