IAMLADP is an international forum and network of managers of international organizations employing conference and language service providers. The Annual Meetings bring together managers from over 80 member organizations to share knowledge and experiences and discuss subjects of common interest. 

The 2019 Annual Meeting was co-hosted by the two linguistic services of the European Parliament (DG LINC and DG TRAD) and the European Commission (DG SCIC and DGT), with the support of the Translation Service of the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union and the Directorate-General for Multilingualism of the Court of Justice of the European Union, in Brussels on 27-29 May 2019.  

The 2020 Annual Meeting will be hosted by the United Nations Office at Nairobi.

The Brussels Statement on multilingualism, issued as an outcome of IAMLADP 2019, is available in all twenty-four languages of the European Union (host of IAMLADP 2019) and the official languages of the United Nations here.  The French compilation is available here.

The Universities Contact Group of the Working Group on Training acts as IAMLADP liaison between international organizations and training providers, by promoting information exchange, cooperation and better relations between the two constituencies. University of Salamanca Seminar 2020.  VIII Seminar on Legal and Institutional Translation for International Organization (IOs) under the auspices of the Universities Contact Group (UCG), IAMLADP Working Group on Training, 17-21 February 2020.

Special outreach event "Linguists in International Organisations" will be held at the University of Geneva on 5 October 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.  Registration is open until 26 September 2019.  

EU host paper for IAMLADP 2019, on new technologies and artificial intelligence in the field of language and conference services, posted in English, French and Spanish, by the European Commission's Knowledge Center on Interpretation. 

DG Interpretation (SCIC) launches its online Knowledge Centre on Interpretation (KCI), a single, go-to space to manage and exchange knowledge, create synergies and disseminate best practices on conference interpretation and more. Further information, including how to sign up, can be found here.

A new version of the EU terminology database IATE (InterActive Terminology for Europe) is launched by the translation services of the EU institutions after two years of substantial redevelopment work.
